"When our studio is too busy, we bring alterations to Hong Kong Tailors. Mostly pants (hem, waist, taper the legs) and have had them also work on tailoring and they’ve done a fantastic job. They’ve also been able to spot clean some vintage pieces we were unsure could be saved."

"I needed a very complicated lace dress hemmed in less than 24 hours and they were the only ones in the west village that were able to do it. The price was so reasonable I would 1000% trust them and go back"

"Upon pick-up for a simple waist take-in alteration, I tried the newly tailored pants in store and found that the pants button was BROKEN and hanging attached by a safety pin… You’d think the tailor would reattach the button they broke and that’s in front of them! Nope not at this place! I do not recommend this place. Take your business somewhere else where it's of better quality and less overpriced. Attached pic is the person reattaching the broken button on the spot upon pick-up..."

"Had a thin vintage jacket re-lined, came back with tons of extra fabric bunching up inside. I’m not sure why anyone would re-line a delicate jacket this way. They were able to match a competitor’s price, which I originally thought kind, but ultimately I’m going to have to pay more than originally quoted elsewhere to have this fixed. The sleeves have extra fabric, too. They didn’t re-line the pockets so now the pockets don’t match the jacket lining. They defended their decision not to do so saying they “didn’t need it,” but I came there to have the entire jacket relined. It is(was) my favorite blazer. They also didn’t inform me I’d be charged $5 to pay with card. Consider somewhere else."

"I've brought clothes to Honk Kong Tailors many times. The work is always impeccable! Friendly service, quick turn around. I'll be back! (In fact I dropped off a jacket today!)"
