"On that day, I found a nutcracker figurine with multiple markdown price tags clearly displayed: • First markdown: $31 • Second markdown: $19 • Final markdown: red clearance tag marked $15 The item was visibly damaged: one arm was detached, and the backpack on the back was broken. Based on HomeGoods’ pricing practices, a red tag represents final clearance pricing. To confirm, I asked a store associate (approximately 30 years old, Black male). He pointed directly to the red tag and clearly stated: “That is the price — $15. This is the final price.” Relying on this confirmation, I proceeded to checkout. The cashier, a small-framed White female approximately 40 years old, asked me to wait, then returned with a hostile attitude and stated the price was $80. She then rudely removed and discarded all markdown tags, including the red $15 tag, in front of me. When I explained the item was damaged and that the price had been confirmed by another associate, she responded with suspicion and dismissiveness, insisted the price was $80, and ultimately forcefully took the item away from me, ending the transaction."

"This store is welcoming, organized, and clean. The cashiers go out of their way to brighten up your day with authentic conversations. This HomeGoods is a great place to destress-just be warned, you will absolutely leave with things you didn't come for!"

"Rude and mean employee! Specify on EMPLOYEE women with short gelled hair. Work on customer service please before getting into this job."

"I had a concerning incident when I visited HomeGoods the other day. As I retrieved a cart from the parking area, I placed my toddler inside and began pushing it toward the entrance. Unexpectedly, the cart locked while still in motion—right in the middle of the roadway—and I was left stuck trying to force the cart to move with my child near moving cars. I couldn't just leave it in the middle of the street as that would also be a hazard. There were no visible warning signs in the parking lot to alert shoppers to this locking system. When I mentioned it to customer service, their reply downplayed the situation as an inconvenience and failed to acknowledge the real safety risk, especially with small children involved."

"This is a great store that sells a ton of great things for the house. Inside was very busy but the store was still very neat and the check out line moved along very quickly. Free parking at this location!"
