"Nothing gentlemanly about this place - - more like homeless. Dark, dank, tired and old. Don't waste your time. Don't believe what they say on the telephone if you want to consign something, totally different different story at the shop. Bait and switch at its worst. The positive reviews are mostly self-created. Do yourself a favor and skip this place; wish I had!"

"I almost didn’t write this review because I’d keep this store all to myself - but this store deserves better. Genuinely the greatest store in all of NYC for men’s clothes. I have lived in the city 27 years. TWENTY SEVEN YEARS. Best store in all of NYC. The prices in my opinion are extremely reasonable and everything is insanely high quality. This is not a thrift store so definitely keep that in mind, but I always find something under $30 that I LOVE. And the quality is superb, especially compared to the thrift. Full suits, dress shirts, shoes, cool jeans - I just plug in my headphones and frolic. I don’t mind their dressing rooms, I guess if you’re super afraid of your own image then don’t go? All good by me. See you there!"

"If you’re looking for a good time, head to Gentlemen’s Resale. A wonderland of designer clothes on consignment. Definitely a place you’ll want to go back to as they continuously restock. And after 30 days of an item being introduced in the store, the price begins to drop. You can follow them on instagram to see the latest. Staff is seriously friendly and accommodating. Do make sure to inspect each item as some may have tears or stains. 10/10 would recommend."
