"Bob from Garden Hardware Store is a neighborhood gem! A true professional who knows every product he sells inside out. He also has lots of insights on the various trades from plumbing to electrical to carpentry and painting. Garden Hardware I cannot recommend anymore strongly!"

"Sadly this establishment is or has already closed. They were a wonderful team. The UPSIDE is that there is a petition to change the name of the street from Marcus Garvey Blvd; to the name of its female owner. Since opening the store in the 1920's, she has been a force for educating women and giving out micro loans to further their growth. An idea that has only recently been promoted on a worldwide basis. She is DEFINITELY a PIONEER. If anyone asks PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION"

"I just wanted to take the time to thank the employee who helped me at this hardware store yesterday with my broken walker!! What a mess, the pin holding the wheel popped out, and the employee, kind man with grey hair, helped me with a quick, under $2 fix! With his help, I got to the theater and was one of the last people to gain admittance to The Daily Show! But, I got in and I ended up seated right up front. ❤️ Anyway, thx again, Garden Hardware & Supply for being there!"

"Best hardware store in the neighborhood. I actually live closer to 3 different hardware stores but I go to this one because the quality is so good. Love how you gotta do a consultation because they store everything in the back. I’m not very handy so it’s been very reassuring to get recommendations from the experts. Also, I like that they don’t try to upsell you. One time I went in looking for new nails but the owner told me I could just use the nails I already had. I never thought I’d be this excited about a hardware store."

"These guys are awesome And friendly. Just moved into the neighborhood and every time something came up while I was getting settled into my apartment they were able to help. I even went to them one day with a metal rack that wouldn’t unscrew because of the threads and they got unscrewed for me free of charge."
