"Avoid This Place – Unsafe Food and Terrible Service I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others. After purchasing food from this store, I ended up with a severe case of food poisoning — clearly something was not stored or handled properly. When I tried to contact management about it, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to take responsibility or even listen. On top of that, the store is constantly understocked. Shelves are bare half the time, and what little is available is wildly overpriced compared to other stores in the area. Between the poor customer service, lack of inventory, and now a health concern, I won’t be returning. Save yourself the trouble — shop elsewhere."

"I just came back from shopping there. One has to watch everything they ring up. Pepperidge Farm cookies for example, the sign says $5.05 and the cashier rings up $5.85. She goes and checks and yes, it’s $5.05. I went to the manager and told her about this and her face was saying, frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn. Same with the female cashier. . Male cashier are very nice though.Mmm…"

"I've been shopping here for at least 25 years and I find the cashiers helpful and pleasant. I see negative reviews but who doesn't have a "bad day" once in a while? Of all the various stores I've shopped in for years, I would rate the cashiers and stock guys a 9.0 The convenience of this location makes life easier for those who live within a few blocks. The produce section has fresh fruits and vegetables, the meat department is great. (No expired chicken). At least I haven't noticed any in the past 5 years. If you see moldy bread, it's the wholesaler that provides it to the store and many of these breads do not have preservatives. Overall, i think it's great store. Thank you for convenience 24 hrs a day. HF"

"They have fresh bagels now and they are definitely the best option for the price and quality, in the neighborhood. The Key Food and Green Valley bagels are too supermarket generic tasting, the bagels at Mad Cafe are too expensive, and the ones at Chakra Cafe are great but so small! Glad to have tried these. Btw they're behind the deli counter so you do have to wait to ask for them."
