"Boris & Eugene are two highly skilled professionals who have been in the game for decades now! They are very sociable and work with you to get your shoes repaired. Out of all the shoe repair stores I’ve visited in NYC, this one is by far my favorite, and definitely the best. I had some shoes that were considered unrepairable by most stores I inquired to - except East Village Shoe Repair. They worked with me to resole my crumbling soles and I was left extremely satisfied with the service. Great quality, great value. I would highly recommend checking out this shop for all your cobbler needs. Will come back soon whenever I need my shoes repaired again. Thank you so much!"

"Don’t bring here shoes that you care about. Brought my blundstones here to simply have a new rag stitched in: 30$. Here’s the result would not recommend for any kind of expensive shoes. 2 stars cause work was done very rapidly (and it shows)."

"incredible service. did a beautiful resole with a slight lift on the two pairs of red wings i wear to work. way beyond my expectations, finished quickly, and with even more finesse than a fancy mail-away service that quoted me twice as much for the same job. you can’t go wrong at east village shoe repair !!!!"

"I took two platform shoes that I’ve had for years here. The shoes were ripped from the actual soles/platforms. One pair I used to wear daily and was just worn to shreds and these other I bought I only wore a couple times before it broke and was unusable. Bros fixed them up in just a few days. He stitched the soles back on. I don’t even know how he did it but it’s so sturdy and now I can actually wear these again instead of them collecting dust. I’m so happy! Go here, they can fix your weird 5inch platform sneakers haha"
