"This is a special place for men looking for unique, high quality clothing. Totally different than any other spot I visited while shopping in the East Village. The sales reps were super helpful, too. Everything here is limited run, so don't sleep on it if you find something you like. Also, most shirts run a bit loose, so you'll likely be able to size down unless you want it oversized. The packaging up of whatever you buy is a nice touch, and to finish the sale with a shot of whiskey is the perfect way to end a transaction."

"One of the few brands that truly makes you feel seen!!! I don’t usually write reviews, but Descendant of Thieves deserves it. The moment I discovered this brand, I felt like I had finally found clothes that matched my personality, original, thoughtful, and a little rebellious in the best way. The craftsmanship is next-level, and I love knowing that each piece is part of a limited batch. It makes what I wear feel intentional. Every time I put on one of their shirts or jackets, I feel confident, comfortable, and a little more myself. Highly recommend for anyone tired of blending in!!"

"Great store, great brand! Really nice pieces, uniquely designed, well cut, and quality workmanship. Not pricey at all for what it is. The designs don't go to outlandish to be different. For example, a simple plaket to hold a breast pocket on a shirt vs just sewing a pocket on. Little unique touches such as this draw the eye. Another great touch - every design is a limited run that's retired after being made. And each garment has a tag inside with the run total. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They're fans of the brand and go out of their way to tell you about it if you're unfamiliar. Which we were. Can't believe how many times I've walked across Bleeker and not seen this shop. So used to the leather shop that was there for decades, I guess. Anyway - def worth a visit. My wife and I both bought a few pieces. She fell in love with the shirts, too"
