"I come here often to pick up basic items like plain Tshirts, camisoles, and bike shorts. They have some cute dresses as well. Prices are very good, store is clean and the staff is very nice. They always fold my items in the shopping bag, which is a level of service I wouldn't expect from a store with prices this low, but it's a nice touch."

"I have been going to De Janeiro since my wall street days there was one located near wall street. I now work near the location at 43 West 33rd street which I love and customer service is always great filled with welcome and smiles. I recently visited on a Saturday which is not my usual day of shopping but this time I was there to return something. I walked through the door and there were 2 employees one male and one female none greeted me nor gave any eye contact not even a smile, hi or welcome. I walked to the register and waited, mind you I was the only customer in the store. There was no one shopping. I heard the two employees laughing and talking. I waited and when I saw no one. I looked that way and said hey Im here to return something the woman didn’t acknowledge me but eventually made her way to the register as she “fix and or organize clothing on her way. She gave zero eye contact not even a hello or smile nothing as If I was not standing there. She even rolled her eyes at me. I explained I had a return I handed her my receipt she reviewed it made notes to it said I would be getting a store credit I said it was fine and Thank you. She handed me the receipt with not one word to me. So unfriendly and unprofessional. She was a heavy set woman with brown hair. If this is how she treats customers/people she should not be in the customer service department. I will no longer be visiting on Saturdays The weekday staff are wonderful."

"My go-to store when I’m in the city and need an emergency quick change or just don’t like what I have on. Inexpensive but cute stuff. If you like stores like Strawberry or liked to shop at Mandee shop. You know what the selection is like."

"Very rude and “Racial Profiling” as I walked up to the register I had said hello to the lady she looked at me up and down and left behind the register to walk away as I was standing there to get service. Her coworker noticed what had happened and try to assist me but at that point I felt very uncomfortable and felt the need to leave and not spend my hard working earned money on a company who hire people like this…. Imagine how many black Americans women’s she would do this to … shame shame shame will never ever step foot in that place ever again"
