"Becoming a David Shoe Repair client means you become part of New York living history. David was at work on 9-11. David lived to tell about it, his experience on the day the world changed- the World Trade Center twin towers came down. David even keeps a pic from that day that he shares. David is around the corner from Trinity Church and around the corner from Whole Foods in one direction and Sienna Pizza in another, the Occulus in another direction and the waterfront in yet another. And then there is David and his historic shoe repair shop. David's shop is old school- keys, shoes, you name it. A nice talented man who works to accomodate his customers- new ones that walk in as I did and return customers, as I got to witness when I came across David's store by chance on my walk to Whole Foods while in town visiting. Definitely, a five star master with a history of living through the day that changed the world."

"Fantastic work. David did a sole & heel replacement, plus conditioned and shined a pair of Allen Edmonds boots that were pretty beat up. Now they look as good as new."

"Shockingly good shoe repairs at reasonable prices. And quick — my latest sole replacement was a 1-day turnaround. David is so friendly. A proper hole in the wall and amazingly located for FiDi access (right next to R train at Rector). Will be my regular “shoe guy” now."

"Great work! Re-soled some old leather loafers with some new vibram soles. We looked through the catalogue together to pick color, height and style. Also came back with a shine and glued some lining inside which was starting to peel. (Pics taken after walking around the city for the day in them)"
