"I love this tiny specialty shop. They have the crome-tipped (or gold-tipped) bulbs I like. And they are super helpful. I had a plug-in extension cord with a socket at one end that I'd ruined by breaking an old bulb off inside. I brought it with me to ask if they carried them. She said, "No, but I could make you one." What?? Then she did even better; realizing what the problem was, she took it in the back and in a minute came back out with it fixed! So yes, I'm a fan."

"We have been buying all the bulbs and dimmers for our bar on the lower east side here for over eight years. We just opened our second location and bought everything we needed at bulb(s) world. They built light strips to our specifications and offered great knowledge and advice. Friendly service, expert help, and everything we’ve ever needed is always in stock. Highly recommend."

"Hey, I was here yesterday to replace a bulb for my daughter. The people here are so nice and customer service was excellent. They checked my bulb and found that i was working and therefore no need to buy another bulb. The bulb I was looking for was $12.99. They said it was something else - maybe loose screw or wiring. I didn't buy anything this time, but will remember how I was treated. I highly recommend this place."
