"We order Swedish candy all the time and we’re so excited to find a company in NYC. Cute location and vibe. But never were welcomed or asked if we needed help. They finally spoke to us and only to ask if we wanted a bag. That was it. Zero personality. They looked miserable. Acted miserable. Figured oh well, left started trying the candy and majority of what we got was stale or super hard which has never been our experience with this kind of candy in the past. Not sure what the issue was. 10/10 won’t make this a stop next time. I’ll stick to ordering online."

"Ever since tiktok blew up Swedish candy I just had to try them 😂 and then I found this location. I think the price are actually really decent and the candies are super delicious! I personally love the sour grapefruit bottles and the strawberry marshmallow!"

"BonBon is a colorful candy heaven that brings Sweden’s favorite sweets to New York. The store is cheerful and beautifully organized with endless candy varieties — sour, salty, fruity, and chocolatey. Everything is imported from Sweden and tastes authentic. The staff is enthusiastic and lets you sample before buying. The only drawback is that it’s a bit pricey for candy, but you’re paying for imported quality. It’s a fun stop for kids and adults alike, and the packaging is Instagram-worthy. BonBon isn’t just a candy store; it’s a full-on nostalgic experience that brings out your inner child. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth."

"I checked out Bon Bon in the lower east side and from the outside to the inside, it’s a great spot to check out. The place has a low key chill vibe and made me want to hang out a bit and browse their extensive selection of candy. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful with all my questions. I took my time checking out every inch of the store and found plenty of candy. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and this location is like many places in NYC, it’s walkable. When I get a chance, I’ll be going back to stock up. If you get a chance, then check out Bon Bon and enjoy the great experience."

"Candy is delicious but they were out of a lot of the popular candy’s which is understandable, still plenty of candy! I suggest going later, in the morning or going during a weekday. Depending on when you go you will have to wait. We waited for about 25 minutes around 3pm on a Saturday and a sweet worker brought us candy to try as we waited. It’s $18 dollars per pound and 4.50 per quarter pound. The overall experience personal makes it worth it!"
