"Love, Love, Love South Carolina Tony! 👏 👏 👏 I believe that I've shopped at Bentley's for just about 25yrs and Tony's honesty is the best there ever was. With soooooo many changes occurring in the Downtown Brooklyn area, its unfortunate that Tony's time as the Women's Shoe Czar of Montague St has to come to an end (or pause). Thanks to internet shopping, early shoppers (always snatching up size 10s), trump tariffs and lack of continuous foot traffic, there is real difficulty in maintaining small businesses. Shopping for shoes, whether for me or my children, used to be such a cool experience. Tony has lots of inventory still available and will have some boots available for the fall/winter before the red door finally locks. Please go and support a few last times 😉!!"

"Oh nooooo! I've been shopping here since the 90's. I pray he gets a WINDFALL of money so he could pay and keep this store. I've bought some really beautiful, comfortable, conversational pieces here. Im really sad to see them go. Im going to come by next week to see what i can purchase. Im also gonna tell the rest of my family and friends so that we can support this business😍"

"I’m honestly shocked at how rude and unprofessional the man working at this store was. I came in genuinely interested in buying a pair of shoes, and instead of being helpful, he immediately questioned whether I was actually buying or "just looking" which felt really condescending. Then, when I tried to take a quick photo of the shoes to show my mom, he snapped, “No pictures of the shoes,” in the most unfriendly way possible. It was completely unnecessary and just weird. His whole attitude was aggressive and unwelcoming, and he ended up making my friends and me leave the store. I’ve never felt so disrespected while shopping. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. I will never shop here"

"I can't remember the last time I was this delighted with a small local business. This man was delightful, dapper, polite, and genuine and I walked out with some amazing spring step boots that are ultra comfy and required no break-in whatsoever."

"Thank you to the saleswoman who was so kind and helpful today! I was buying shoes for an unexpected funeral which is, you know, stress upon stress, but she got me through it-- brought me, like, a gazillion different styles and sizes, and was just so patient. Much appreciated! Also, the selection is great, and the prices were shockingly good. Hope to come back in happier times!"
