"They did a great job fixing up a few of my heels. Unfortunately one of my heels broke again very quickly after his original repair, so he took them back at no cost and replaced the full support of the heel so it wouldn’t happen again. Would recommend him to anyone!"

"Dropped off a pair of white margiela tabis that were worn twice to be given sole protectors. Was quoted 25 when I called , but when I arrive was told 85. I asked what that 85 included and was told the soul protectors, waterproofing, and a cleaning. When I arrived to pick them up, I noticed the shoes were damaged, severely creased which were not in that condition when i dropped them off. they also were still dirty, and when I called them out on it, they looked at me blankly and said that’s “how you brought them to me” even though I was told they would’ve been cleaned as well. also, they have a sign covering the old sign so I’m wondering if they’re hiding from the multiple bad reviews they have received. will not be returning."

"Sooo rude! I called to get a quote for shortening a leather strap, and he refused to give me a price range, and just started yelling “bring the bag!” And eventually hung up on me. There are TONS of leather repair shops in chelsea. Cant wait to see him go out of business."

"Terrible. Left my prized handmade walking boots with him for a "professional" clean and we went through the process of what would be done when I dropped them off. i.e. a brush would be used as they have a rough leather finish. Not only did I strongly suspect that he was overcharging me (based on his attitude) but when I collected them yesterday they had been massively discoloured and had lost most of their rough quality. I asked how they were cleaned and he told me "with acid"!! I couldn't believe the words that came out of his mouth. He didn't even offer an apology or discount. This guy 'Arty' clearly has been doing the job for a while, but he is strikes me as being complacent and as a result of his shortcuts, his quality of service is inconsistent. Choose this repairer at your own risk...you may be more fortunate than I was."

"The owner and worker there is the best around. I had my Bostonian shoes resoled at another place (on 7th ave and 22nd next to 711) and the owner put the sole on crooked. I gave him a chance to make it right and he didn't. I brought those same shoes here and I couldn't be more satisfied. Very polite and experienced. Highly recommended!"
