"Brought in a Valentino bag to see if they could replace a missing screw. They cut the leather and forced in the wrong screw and scratched the hardware. No one asked them to do that - I just wanted them to tell me if they had the same screw. I’m shocked they cut the leather on the bag. Based on this experience I’m not sure I’d trust their work unless you’re very precise about what you want done."

"I get all of my shoes serviced here and have for years. They have single handedly kept all of my very nice designer shoes looking sharp. I love when they resole my shoes making them last years and years. They also do a great job with stretching new shoes to make them more comfortable. So grateful for them and their excellent work. Of note I have Gucci loafers with embroidered bees and they have kept the leather parts clean and shiny without damaging the embroidered part!!"

"Angelo’s Shoe Repair is an UWS staple. I remember my parents going to him 20 years ago and when I needed a beloved pair of slingback sandals re-soled, I knew exactly who to go to. They did a wonderful job and did not disappoint! My shoes literally looked brand new again and, even better - I didn’t have to find, buy and break in a new pair."
