"Stay away! One of the associates was extremely rude when I came back to the store to return 2 items. She accused me of staying in the store for 3 hours and trying on the items (I stayed for 20-25 minutes, and I only asked her to bring one item in different size). She was unwilling to process the return and was very unhelpful and unprofessional."

"Regular shopper with Alice. I buy stuff online. Since I work close to their store I decided to bring a return in. An older red headed woman immediately made untrue accusations. She told me I had worn the clothing. She scoffed at my reasons for returning. I had already received approval from the online customer service approving the return. A younger brunette saleswoman was wonderful, helpful and apologetic. I will not be returning to this store for as long as the other woman is working there. I am hard working professional who doesn’t need anyone judging me. Very sad as I truly love the brand."

"Since AO charges $10 for mailed return, I went to this store instead that’s close to my work. The store is very nice, has some wonderful clothing. But not as versatile as their website that has far more items and products on sale. I was greeted by a very friendly associate. She proceeded my return within a minute. I walked around the door little bit. They have some lovely fitting room. This a good store for people to see and try AO’s amazing designs and clothes."

"There are too many other stores around with quality customer service to waste time shopping at this location. The saleswoman was exactly that- very salesy and disingenuous. Telling me the item I tried on looked fabulous when it was indeed 2 sizes too small. She mentioned that she had worked there for 2 yrs. I think it’s time for her to leave because she seemed very bitter. God forbid you try on something and don’t buy it - her true colors shine through with snide comments portraying her true self - a washed up high school mean girl. Stay away and find Alice & Olivia items at department stores."

"Love Alice and Olivia! Love Kelly Bowman! My daughter, Dorothy Lennox, age 21, is a professional dancer, performer and model and she desperately needed a professional wardrobe. After years of only wearing dance clothes and stuff purchased at resale shops, I wanted to help her have a professional wardrobe that would span the gamut from running all over NYC to classes and auditions, to attending meet and greets to walking the red carpet. We found Alice and Olivia on 40th Street in NYC and we found Kelly Bowman there to help us. My daughter now has a wonderful wardrobe which travels well, is comfortable, coordinates between pieces, is timeless and, while not cheap, did not break the bank either. My daughter needed a lot of basic pieces that would mix and match together. She is also a frequent international traveler and she needed items that would travel well, but look put together even if hauled around in a backpack. Kelly, the sales associate that greeted us when we first went to A&O, helped us to find the exact right pieces. She now has a nice pair of black suede pants that she rolled up and took with her to Paris a couple of months ago for an audition. She was able to pair those with some great turtlenecks and a timeless suede jacket for dinner, but she also paired it with a funky zebra-striped shirt and some fun accessories for going out to a club. She then went to the Moulin Rouge and had a fantastic little black dress that packed perfectly. Back home, she has several fun culottes that she pairs with some nice silk shirts and some simple tops for days running around NYC. Finally she has several dresses that are appropriate for red carpet events and performance openings. All of her basics came from Alice and Olivia, and Kelly helped us pick it all out and helped us get items that were on sale and that would work seamlessly together. The quality of A&O runs from good to fantastic and I expect my daughter's pieces, especially the more expensive ones, to last her for a good long time. We will definitely be giving Alice and Olivia more business and we will also rely on Kelly to help continue to build the needed wardrobe."
