"Outstanding customer service! Not only did Antony facilitate my suit purchase over the phone and helped me put the shopping bag into an Uber courier, he also hand-delivered a replacement pant to me within an hour. So grateful and impressed by the kind service."

"Not pretentious, but overpriced. Lovely vintage easy and classic designs, cotton that has amazing hand feel. But everything is pretty much $200. At that price it shouldn’t be made in China, lots of Japanese influence minus Japanese milled fabric and manufacturing. Bummer"

"So I previously posted a four out of five star review on the Alex Mill website which the staff have chosen not to publish which is why I’ve taken off a star for lack of integrity. I’m also annoyed that I have to post my review again, but this is for the benefit of shoppers and customers, and I’ve included more information than in my first review that I missed the first time. I first heard of the Chiltern Jacket by Alex Mill from Katie Louise, a YouTuber who raved about the quality. I am pleased with the quality, cut and fit. For future iterations, I would note that adding fabric beneath each side of the zipper would prevent the zipper from scratching your sweaters and pilling them. As I hand knit my own sweaters, this is a detail I always look for - coats from decades ago had this detail as standard practice, it’s only in recent times that manufacturers have omitted the fabric beneath the zippers for cost cutting measures. At this price point, I would expect this detail. Please also note that the lining of the Chiltern jacket isn’t 100% cotton as advertised the Alex Mill website, there is a portion that is 100% nylon. This isn’t a minus, nylon helps the lining glide across your sweaters or flannel shirts when you put the coat on. It is however, misleading to not include it in the materials list on the website. Item is made in China and cost NZD$835 as of January 2025. I purchased this jacket online and it shipped with DHL express. Shipping time was fast. I was fine with the way it was packaged: sandwiched between tissue paper, placed flat in a plastic bag and folded and placed in a paper bag. The price point is similar to COS which reminds me of the differences between the 2 brands. I bought a 100% wool coat from COS and it was zippered as well. It came delivered in a cardboard box (no plastic) and the zipper pull was wrapped in paper for protection. The Chiltern Jacket was packaged like a Uniqlo product with no protection for the zipper."

"Blown away by the brand! 💙 Seeing the clothes in person exceeded my expectations + notions. The quality is exceptional. On the surface the styles look simple but the choice of fabrics, the construction details, the finishes are impeccably + thoughtfully designed. It takes true skills, talent and passion to make clothes look so timeless, effortless and chic. The colorways - unexpected and fresh. Love the selection of accessories and jewelry. #mynewfavoritebrand 🙌🏻"
