"Always a great option for warm and comforting eats! Looking at the menu, you really can’t go wrong with anything—the flatbread pizza is a MUST, the bowls are so deliciously filling, and the appetizers will fill you up because you won’t stop until you finish. Great staff and vibe—a very relaxed and inviting vibe for friends, family, or couples. You’ll definitely get seating during the day, but it’s very popular in the evening. It’s the kind of place where you eat at once and you’ll be coming back time and again! Neighborhood gem!"

"We came with a party of four for brunch on a beautiful fall Saturday and though it was busy they were able to seat us outside right away. We had the Yemeni Soufflé which was quite good, the Eggs Benzatar which was very good, the Eggs Baladi which was good and spicy, and the chicken kebab which was very good. The pita is also very good. We tried three desserts which were all respectable, not very sweet. Very reasonable prices!"

"Amazing food and great service. I loved the flavors and quality of the food. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I got the salmon kabob and the Mediterranean salad. It comes with the rice and salad on the side. I also got the mint lemonade and a few drinks and desserts from the little cafe section. Everything was great but I’ll be coming back for the dinner more than the desserts. They have indoor and outdoor seating with lots of room and a cute windowsill seating. The staff were attentive and friendly and quick to serve. I really enjoyed it!"

"I must say, I was worried this was not an Arab restaurant. My first concern with spending my money anywhere is if it stolen claimed food and supporters of the current Palestinian Holocaust. Once I saw the word Yemeni on the menu and the definition of Zatar in the cafe, I felt more at ease. I went with a few family members and we ordered Shakshuka, chicken shawarma sandwich and chicken shawarma platter with Kibba and the appetizer. Our drinks were mint lemonade and hibiscus lemonade. My only complaint is I asked for my Shakshuka to be fully cooked since I can't do runny eggs and only one of the eggs was fully cooked..but it's okay, I took the runny egg side to go to finish cooking it at home since the portion size was more than filling. I did have to request a second pita bread for dipping. We enjoyed our food and the kunafa for dessert was absolutely the best final touch! I forgot to take a picture of the dessert display but there are other delicious looking options such as cheese cake! We will be coming again for sure. Cozy and beautiful environment and great service! Thank you 💚🇾🇪🇵🇸"

"I live in Manhattan but I came across this place when I was visiting Prospect Park. It is in proximity to it and easy to distinguish. I had a chicken kebab with fries and baklava. The kebab was excellent, the fries were crispy and not too oily. It was seasoned well to the tip. The chicken was flavourful and I could taste that roast. Honestly I regret dipping it. Also the vegetables are fresh. For such a price in NYC I believe that it's a steal. The baklava was sweet and on point. Overall I'd visit this place again and recommend it to other people. The employees are also friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy."
