"My friend invited me to try this place and honestly, I was a bit hesitant after reading some recent reviews. But she said it wouldn’t hurt to try since we were already nearby, and I take it back! This spot just became my new favorite in the area. The staff were super nice and welcoming, and even though Greek food is new to me, everything my friend recommended was so good. Definitely worth every penny👌"

"We had a nice dinner here. It's a go-to restaurant for my daughter and it was my first time. We ordered family style and everything was very good. We started with dolmas, 3 spreads (spicy red pepper, eggplant and tzatziki), and spanakopita. My favorite was the spicy red pepper spread which included crumbled feta. The spanakopita was chocked full of spinach and the phyllo was nice and crispy. We then had roasted chicken, Brussels sprouts, and beet salad. The chicken was moist, the Brussels sprouts were flavorful and I loved the roasted Haloumi in the salad."

"We have been to Yasouvlaki several times. We have always felt welcomed with genuine care. Last nights reservation, I mistakenly made for their upper east side location. Though the restaurant was busy inside and out, hostess and owner were very accommodating and able to find us comfortable Banquet seating. The ambience is inviting, clean, well lit and we never feel cramped. Staff is friendly, attentive and courteous and well versed on menu preparation. Last nights cocktail, Tito‘s and cucumber was refreshing and balanced.. Appetizers are great to share, especially, halloumi with grilled roasted peppers. Salads, dressed just right with options, adding skewers of poultry, shrimp and salmon, all were flavorful, not dry, making for a great meal. Their Moussaka casserole with layers of roasted vegetables, beef and lamb topped with béchamel, and a creamed potato with fresh herbs, delicious! Roasted salmon with the Mediterranean herbs, flaky, moist with crispy edges. Their prices are just right and such a welcoming addition to the upper West side we are very grateful. Thank you Anthony"

"Everything was delicious! It was the first time my teenager had ever tried Greek food and he said it was the best chicken he's ever had in his life. He also loved the grape leaves and the baklava. The staff was very kind and attentive. We sat outside."

"Came across this place walking from the Met. Split the mixed seafood grill on a date. The food was incredibly flavorful and one of the best mixed dishes I can say I’ve had. Perfect for me, with a carnivorous diet and my partner who enjoys vegetarian options. For NYC, very reasonable price especially considering the food was enough for both of us and later that night as left-overs. Waiters were attentive and friendly. A nice busboy offered to box our food which was kind. Definitely recommend coming here."
