"The chicken & fries were the absolute worst. Why would you give a customer, uncooked fried potatoes and uncooked chicken, knowing that one could get sick? I made the fatal mistake of taking another chance at this once popular fried chicken spot in Harlem. I have regrets. This was my go-to place for a quick chicken meal some nearly a decade ago and my family and friends went there when we were in the vicinity. Although the server/cashier was pleasant the food was HORRIBLE. Just unimaginably the WORST. I could go on, but it will only upset me all over again. It was a waste of $12 bucks and I ended up getting a severe upset stomach which didn't fare well since I suffer from acid reflux. I took a chance because 2 yrs ago, the chicken wasn't at its best, so I figured they had a bad day. Ewww. It was a scorching hot day, and I didn't want to cook. I ended up having to cook dinner nonetheless. Just take a look at the photos. Smh. I will not patronize this place again. I'm done- I wish my chicken were as done as I am right now..🤮 I should've gone to Charles Fried Chicken down the hill, but I wasn't up to the long walk that hot Saturday afternoon. 😫"

"If you want fast food that's clean and fresh, I recommend Village Chicken. They have been in the community for yrs. And, so far never had an issue. The place is always clean."
