"Everything we ordered here was outstanding. The Spicy Jokbal was the highlight — tender, flavorful, and coated in a perfectly balanced spicy glaze that made it incredibly addictive. The Samgyetang tasted clean and comforting, with a rich broth and fall-apart chicken that felt like a true classic done right. We also got the soondae + pan-fried dumpling + tteokbokki trio, and each element was delicious: the soondae was soft and savory, the dumplings were crisp outside and juicy inside, and the tteokbokki had great chew and depth of flavor. Portions are generous, service is warm, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared. A spot I’d definitely come back to for a satisfying Korean meal."

"I had a great meal at Tosokchon NYC! I ordered the beef bone soup, soondae (Korean blood sausage), seafood pancake, and spicy chicken feet — everything tasted amazing. The beef bone soup was rich and comforting, perfect for cold weather. The soondae was soft and flavorful, and the seafood pancake was crispy on the outside and full of ingredients. The chicken feet were spicy but really tasty! The staff were friendly and the restaurant felt cozy. If you like authentic Korean food with good portions, I really recommend this place. I’ll definitely come back!"

"A hearty Korean restaurant with a warm & woodsy atmosphere. We ordered the assorted soondae platter with pork intestine and liver, tteokbokki, knife-cut clam noodles, and LA Galbi and literally everything was outstanding. The soondae was especially yum, with fresh yet rich and distinct flavors of the meat. The galbi was perfectly seasoned and tender, and the clam noodles were hearty and comforting. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and well balanced. Easily one of my favorite Korean spots in NYC!"

"We came by Tosokchon for a late weekend lunch (around 2pm) -- the place was still bustling and practically full, but our party of 2 was still able to get seated roughly immediately. It's very lively inside and a bit loud (but not too hard to talk). We ordered the spicy pork hot pot bibimbap and the galbi tang to share; both were very delicious. The bibimbap looked really spicy and heavy, but fortunately it was neither — the pork was cooked nicely without being too oily or salty, and the dish was nicely balanced with the fluffy rice, egg, and various veggies. The galbi tang was also great. The broth was clear and fragrant, and I love how rich the beef aroma came through in the soup. The beef itself was very tender and flavourful, and the radish and egg were yummy, too. Overall portion size was pretty large, which might explain the higher prices than expected. I think it’s still worth it on balance though, and would very much want to come back to try some of their other dishes."

"I had such an amazing experience here! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic.❤️ We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was a hit: The beef short rib stew was so tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a spicy kick - truly the highlight of the meal. The bibimbap with raw beef and egg yolk was fresh, colorful, and so satisfying when mixed together. The spicy stir-fried chicken had just the right balance of heat and sweetness, super addictive. The tteokbokki was rich, chewy, and packed with flavor. And of course, the kimchi and side dishes were fresh and complemented the mains perfectly."
