"I booked us here because it was convenient for the opera, obviously. I was pleased with the food and the service, and it was lovely to be able to sit and admire the venue. Loved that we could order dessert and have it waiting for us at intermission."

"It鈥檚 very loud (yes because of all the people waiting in the grand tier). Service was like on par but not at the $200/pp level. The best part was the souffl茅 dessert!"

"This time our trip to NYC was primarily to go to a matinee opera show at the Metropolitan Opera - so we decided to go big and splurge on lunch at The Grand Tier. You can't beat the proximity and presentation was top notch/fancy. It was quite expensive and the food tasted just okay, but then this isn't the type of place that any reasonable person would go to looking for a deal. 100% an experience play. For what it's worth, everyone around us really seemed to be enjoying themselves."

"I dined at the Grand Tier restaurant before attending an opera. It was my birthday so we went all out. The food was delicious. Having dessert during intermission was fantastic. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make my birthday feel really special. PS. Get the prix fixe meal. I had the cannelloni for an appetizer, angus beef for dinner, and the souffl茅 for dessert!"
