"I have been to this restaurant a few times last year in October (to honor Turkish Heritage Month) and my last time going to this place so far was on the nineteenth of May to celebrate the day the Turkish War of Independence began. I love this place very much and to my knowledge, I have dined in on five occasions."

"Amazing place. I visit them at least twice a year. Food is downright amazing. The kebab chicken is so well done, I actually tip $10 to the chef myself. Another $10 to the waitress for always being nice and courteous to us. I do this. Every Time. Owner is on site sometimes and is always available whenever possible. An amazing experience. Def recommended to all."

"If you rate the dishes here 5 stars, it would be unfair to the restaurants that use higher quality, more expensive products, probably. Still, Paterson has the best Turkish restaurants in New Jersey. The cuisine here is not bad, but in comparison, TheBosphorus is inferior. The meat dishes contained a lot of fat and the fried squid was also too oily."

"Tucked away in the middle of the Oranges, this Mediterranean restaurant was a surprising find. The ambiance is elegant and thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail in both the decor and the presentation of the food. The staff is professional, attentive, and welcoming. That said, this is more of a refined, white-tablecloth dining experience—not your typical casual spot. After arriving straight from a hike, we initially felt slightly out of place. But the staff quickly put us at ease with their warm hospitality. We were fortunate to visit on Mother’s Day, when they were offering a full-course menu. The cold appetizers were a strong start—especially the grape leaves and the hummus, both full of flavor and freshness. The ezme had a spicy kick, but wasn’t a standout. Among the hot appetizers, the fried shrimp stole the show. Encased in a perfectly crispy batter, it was arguably the best I’ve had. The shepherd’s salad was fresh, juicy, and well-balanced in flavor. For the main course, I ordered the lamb chops—well done—and was pleased with how juicy and expertly grilled they were. The chicken shish kebab, however, felt a bit underwhelming. One consistent highlight across all the mains was the dill-topped rice, which added an aromatic and savory touch to the meal. To end, we had the künefe. While slightly burnt on the edges, it still hinted at how delicious it could have been if executed perfectly. It seemed like it wasn’t originally part of the day’s fixed menu, so we appreciated that the kitchen prepared it for us nonetheless. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re in the mood for Mediterranean cuisine and are looking for an elevated dining experience—perfect for a special occasion or a date night."

"We reserved a Saturday lunch spot here. Upon arrival there was only one other party in the restaurant. But the restaurant had an amazing pleasant interior. Very well decorated. The menu was exciting, full of great Turkish dishes. We started with the calf liver. My most favorite item of the day. It tasted so good. Then we had calamari and grilled octopus. Again both were amazing quality. Then we had mixed kebab platter. All the meats were tender. Loved the bread and rice. Finally we also had grilled Branzino. The filet was moist and delicious. There was only one lady who was hosting, waitressing and cooking partially as well. Even though the food was fantastic, the service was little abrupt. Some our dishes also took really long time. It’s really pricey as well. They also charge $2 per water bottle that they serve instead of tap water. So I made sure we took our remaining water with us, not to waste them."
