"I discovered Taverna Kos in Astoria through a YouTube video, and I’m so glad I went—it was an excellent experience. The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the hospitality. The owner, Mike, was incredibly humble, down-to-earth, and took the time to check in and make sure we felt at home. You can tell he cares deeply about both the food and the people who come through his doors. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service attentive, and everything we tried was spot-on. It’s the kind of place that feels like you’re eating with family rather than just at a restaurant. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Greek food in Queens—you won’t be disappointed! "We initially wanted to go to Taverna Kycladee but they had an hour wait. We looked up other restaurants in the area, and this was the most highly rated. I am so happy that we did. We’ve been to so many Greek restaurants in the area, but this was by far our favorite. Great vibes, AMAZING service, and awesome food. The octopus was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone in the area who is craving a great bite. Also, the seating was fantastic."

"Probably the best real greek food you gonna have in Astoria! Great service! Amazing food! Its soooooo worth it! The amount of food is generous. The meatballs are moist, flavorful. crunchy outside. The spreads, with pita bread… sooo yummy! Greek salad ALWAYS fresh. Really, I give you my word you going to come back, as I do! I LOVE THIS PLACE!"
