"Great yeero/gyros. Hot fresh tasty, and fast. Attentive and friendly staff. They use a shredded feta that I've never had before but was tasty and gave a unique texture. Will order from again!! Great halloumi bites as well with fresh cucumbers and firm not squishy tomatoes. Quality food fast with special designed bags perfect for eating a messy Yeero Pita without making a mess of yourself as well. I went with the beef and lamb Yeero and added feta, tomatoes, tsatziki, feta, and purple onions. They put so much meat on it that I thought it was all on the top, but as I ate it (in two servings) I found that the meat quantity was all the way to the end. If you want Quality and Quantity, try this spot you won't be sorry."

"Incredible food! my friend and I were both pretty hungry and we ordered the mixed platter for 2- and we could NOT finish it- although we REALLY wanted to! every bite was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed it, would most definitely come here again :)"

"So I made my way from Manhattan over to Queens to try out SVL in Astoria for a midweek lunch meal. Was super excited to try this spot as all of the reviews have been pretty popular and it's on my "Saved List of Eats". The spot is right off the Triborough bridge to the right train, or the 1st stop off the M60 bus coming across the Triborough from Manhattan. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was pretty attentive as it was midweek and it wasn't too busy. I ordered the Lunch Special Chicken Yeero pita sandwich with a Mesculan salad and some of their famous SVL sauce. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, super moist, and plentiful. It was layered with french fries, tomatoes, and fresh red onions all on a fresh off the grill pita bread. The mesclun "side salad" was also super fresh and well proportioned with red and yellow peppers, petite cucumbers and balsamic vinegar Overall I had a great experience at SVL and will definitely come back as I want to try the chicken sticks and rice next. Also this french fries were seriously seriously good and well seasoned. Can't wait to visit again."
