"Had an amazing time trying this new neighborhood gem. The place was filled with patrons and takeout orders. Phone was buzzing! staffs were very friendly and accommodating with my party. Had tried their aeropuerto, ceviche and lomo saltado which were all excellent. excited to return to try their pollo la brasa and other items next time!"

"Quite possibly the worst experience I’ve had at a Peruvian restaurant. I always put Peruvian cuisine at the top of the list. But this place was mediocre at best. The food was OK. But it’s just fast, casual dining. And because it’s so new they don’t have their systems and standard operating procedures in place. It’s not 100% organized and it doesn’t run like a well oiled machine when you’re thinking about it from a managerial perspective and the staff doesn’t seem to know exactly what they’re doing. They do get a ton of orders and they seem like they were overwhelmed on a Saturday afternoon. I arrived and placed my order via a tablet/kiosk. That transaction was very smooth until it came time to wait for the food. The order was placed at 2:48 PM. The food didn’t arrive to our table until after 3:30. That’s an enormous wait time for something that’s fast casual. They don’t have table service. Tickets go in order should come out. They need to work on a better system. In terms of the food it was OK. They’re giving complementary appetizers. The wontons were terrible. The fries are OK. They’re probably just frozen in a bag. The seasoning on the fries was pretty good. The Lomo Salado was OK. The beef was tender, but some pieces were just a little bit too chewy. I wouldn’t recommend to come here. The wait time is just ridiculously long. Over 40 minutes just to wait for a fast casual food. I have better luck just taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully they could fix this pretty soon because if they don’t, there wouldn’t be any more business here. 1/5 stars."

"Had the best time! If you love Peruvian food, this is the spot 😊 Went to their opening and their team is super kind, and the system is easy, whether you’re dining in or grabbing take-out. We had these amazing dishes: Arroz Chaufa De Pollo Ceviche Mixto Dumplings Lomo Saltado The staff made the whole experience even better, warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. It felt like home. And of course, the food is Authentic and absolutely delicious! If you’re craving real Peruvian flavors in a fast-casual setting, The Simple Peruvian needs to be on your list.
