"Not sure how this place has so many 5-star reviews. The food was meh and the service was the same. The steak was forgettable, and the $47 arroz vasco came with only three shrimps and a few clams…way overpriced. Water was never refilled. Ambiance was fine, but whole dining experience was definitely not enough to justify a $230 (tip-included) bill."

"Absolutely loved my visit to Salinas! Every dish was delicious — you can really tell the chef cares about quality and presentation. The staff made us feel so welcome, and the overall vibe was perfect for a relaxing evening!!"

"Espresso Martini - fabulous. Food overall was quite good but presentation was better than taste. The steak skewer was under salted and the potatoes were too crunchy. Service was phenomenal."

"As first experience, staff was extremely friendly and accommodating even I was running late to the reservation. Food was wonderful, very fresh and delicious. I love the soup that they had for the day, perfect for a summer in NYC for sure. I love the arugula salad, it was crunchy and tasty, the bruschetta was very fresh as well you can taste all the flavors and see how thoughtful they have been crafting their drinks and dishes. I love the fact that staff even stayed a bit later for us, I don't recommend doing this but it meant the world to me that they did not rush us out. I love the zetas, and the cauliflower, I tried 3 cocktails and they were all phenomenal. I am from the industry and seeing this quality of products makes me really happy to choose this path. Thanks again for taking home for a few hours. I look forward to trying more dishes next time and cocktails too."
