"Quality has gone down—I used to love the grilled minced pork and the recipe is different now, very dry and bland. The quantity of chicken in the curry chicken banh mi makes its $11+ price really not worth it, even though it was tasty. hoping my favorite banh mi shop for the last 2 decades makes a comeback 🙏"

"Whole in the wall Banh mi shop. Bread is extremely crispy and the vinegar matches the meats perfectly. Got a number one (House special) which is Grilled Pork, VN Salami, VN Ham Bánh Mì Đặt Biệt (Nêm Nướng, Thịt Nguội. Chả Lụa) for $10.50 and was worth every penny. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

"Got the curry chicken spicy, was hot and delicious. It seems spicy just meant with jalapenos. The slaw is really bright and flavorful. Cash only but tax is already included in pricing. Recommend if you're in the area"

"Cash or Venmo accepted (Venmo has a $1 extra charge). Solid banh mi, I got #1 house special (spicy). Highly recommend. Would definitely come again. Sat outside in the shade, it was perfect."

"never knew this place existed until recently. I’ve been on a hunt for a good banh mi in nyc and this place is definitely on one of my top picks so far. Ordered number 1 spicy and it hit the spot. Very flavorful. I would have liked to taste more butter and pate that’s for sure but overall a decent sandwich. It’s CASH ONLY."
