"There’s inflation and then there’s screwing your customers. Funny how other businesses I frequent for sandwiches haven’t had quite the same price increases. The prices, combined with the workers who are not pleasant, makes it easy to no longer patronize the store unless I have one very specific craving. I grit my teeth and pay the nearly $20 for a sandwich. Just isn’t right!"

"Second time I tried this place assuming they were having an off day my first time. I had to throw my deli wrap out, the chicken was inedible. The fresh pasta has an off taste and smell that I’ve never experienced elsewhere. This place is good for dried pasta and a good selection of cheeses, but avoid the homemade stuff."

"i’m only giving Russo’s 3 stars because it’s nostalgic to me otherwise it would have been 2 stars. I remember years ago sitting on the 5th ave bus, always wanting to stop in. Now all these years later, I finally visited Russo’s. I grabbed a fresh mozzarella sandwich, obviously since that’s what they are known for. however what a big disappointment. I couldn’t tell it was fresh mozzarella, the cheese was sliced thin and didn’t have that freshly made taste, might as well bought this sandwich at the local deli. The eggplant had an off putting taste as well. I wanted to love this place, but Unfortunately i will not be returning."

"This place used to be great, you can find all sorts of Italians products, from dry and fresh sausages and prepared foods, to snacks and drinks, fresh pasta and pasta sauces. Lately though, I've consistently experienced bad customer service from the employees, who simply ignore the customer. To top it all off, yesterday I bought some peppers stuffed with goat cheese which turned out to be fermented and inedible and a bag of taralli (an Italian cracker) which were stale. To the owner: time for staff retraining in customer service and inventory keeping?"

"It's a little pricey for my budget but I can't resist. Panini & wraps are delicious and large for $9 (includes a soda). Great anti-pasta salad bar. Try the prosciutto balls, roasted artichoke hearts, or crabcakes. Good place for vegetarian options. They’ve also got a good cheese case, gelato freezer, a wall of refrigerated pastas & sauces, plus specialty pantry items. During the winter holiday season they carry ALL the Pantone you could want. Credit cards, debit cards, and cash accepted. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Only street parking available. #LetsGuide"
