"I’ve only ever been to the UWS location before, this one is much smaller and has much fewer options to choose from. That being said, everything was just as delicious. If you get the Arroz Chaufa just be aware it can feed like 2-3 people."

"I know their specialty is the Peruvian style rotisserie chicken but their Jalea, which is a seafood platter consisting of fish, shrimps, calamari and fried yucca, is phenomenal. This place never disappoints because no matter which Pio Pio you go to you always get the same amazing food. Delicious👍"

"Was really excited to go, chicken and green sauce sounded great, everything was disappointing. The food came out really fast, and it was clear the reason was that everything tasted pre-cooked and had just been refired. So everything tasted overcooked and dry. The yucca was hard, sweet plantains were burnt slightly, and chicken had good flavor but was just dry. The avocado salad was disappointing with a half bruised avocado and too much lettuce and tomato for what should have been an "avocado salad"."

"After a doctor’s appointment, I decided to treat myself to lunch at Pio Pio. I ordered the lunch special, and it was a great deal — generous portions at a reasonable price. I had the avocado salad, a quarter chicken with rice and beans, and tostones, all of which were delicious. To top it off, I enjoyed a refreshing sangria. Overall, a satisfying and affordable meal!"

"When my Spanish friend who knows about Pio Pio he was so excited because he went to Pio Pio in Queens and he had great experience with the food and service. This location is a small place with (not ready vibes) looks like just open for few day. The ambiance isn't look good and only some painting on the wall. Service was so so, there was a mistake on order, rushing, I have no idea if this is a Spanish style of service. Steak, Chicken were good buy Caviches Mixto was not that great. I went to Peruvian restaurant before and this place taste like American Peruvian more than an authentic place. Price is way too much compare to quality and taste of food. Should be better."
