"This place is pretty legit. You have the server that speaks Vietnamese, Vietnamese pop music playing in the background, tins of Vietnamese coffee, and, most importantly, good pho broth! The food was excellent. It came out so fast after I ordered that I was skeptical. However, it exceeded my expectations. The broth was well balanced, light, and yet had that beefy depth. The bowl was big and had plenty of flank meat, which was still pink and cooked beautifully in the broth. The noodles were not soggy at all and held up deliciously, with springy texture. The lime they provided was juicy and the herbs were also fresh. I also ordered spring rolls and they came piping hot to the touch. The bite was crisp and the lettuce helped alleviate the heat. The roll was well stuffed with pork and glass noodles, and the nuoc cham they had was well mixed, with a sweet kick. The server was a man of few words but he's very efficient and prompt! He lets you sit immediately and takes your order quick. The ambience is a bit blank, with only a few pictures on the wall and the coffee tins by the cashier, but the music definitely was Vietnamese and very peppy. It's a narrow building with a bathroom towards the back and wooden tables on the side. There weren't too many people when I came so getting a seat was easy. But this place deserves more customers! At 16 dollars for a bowl of flank pho in midtown, this place deserves more business, especially when considering the fact that the flavors here are actually well boiled and developed! Highly recommended to anyone in the area!"

"The food was really good! The spring rolls were super crispy and tasty, and the grilled pork bowl was fresh and flavorful. Everything tasted clean and not too heavy. I’ll definitely come back again."

"One of the best Vietnamese restaurant in NYC. The Pho here is same taste in Vietnam. I didn’t eat Pho but my friend love it. With dry noodle, the fish sauce is so good"

"I’m excited to see a Vietnamese restaurant in the area (it’s 2 months young). I offer this review as just my opinion and hope it’s constructive. There’s always room for improvement. Service was fine and fast. Environment is simple and quaint. No issue there. 👉🏼The food was…not memorable. My husband had the flank/brisket Pho and said it lacked the aromatics that make Pho special. It tasted like plain beef broth, just 1 note beef broth and noodles. The catfish Banh Mi was okay. Although the catfish was dry, it had good flavor. However, the seasoned vegetables are so finely shredded that it was like a dry lump (see photo). It didn’t have the fresh crispness of a good banh mi. You can see in the photo that the cucumber is barely present and the cilantro is chopped, brown, and not looking so fresh. The baguette was nice. A little chewy, I do prefer a crispier crust but it was okay. I’d stop in to try other items and to see if anything evolves."

"The spring rolls were fresh and delicious for an appetizer. The dry noodles and pho were tasty, and the restaurant was clean with food served very quickly. The service was just okay, though. The Vietnamese coffee was so good. U have to try this"
