"I got the general tso’s chicken combo with an egg roll and the roast pork buns (unpictured). Everything was overall okay. The ratio of bun to pork was heavily screwed to buns in the roast pork buns. The general tso’s chicken I felt was overcooked, I feel like there wasn’t a lot of chicken with a lot of breading. The egg roll tasted really oily."

"Roast Pork.......Was great Broccoli.....Was good Sauce......Was good Best part....My beautiful white rice was not A) Covered in oil from Sauce, B) Ruin by meat covering rice White Rice.......Perfect for Chop Sticks 6 people can eat comfortably..... Wood table and chairs... The front counter person did not greet me but was not rude Menu price $9.70 charged $11.00"

"Long overdue, New Kam Lai is my absolute GO TO Chinese spot on basically a weekly basis for the past few years. They’re fast, friendly and food always hits the spot! If you live on the UWS, this should be your local comfort food spot."

"HORRIBLE’ I work in the area and ordered 3 orders for me and coworkers ‘ we didn’t receive napkins in the bag paid almost $40 and didn’t receive a soda with our meals, or even 1 free soda which most provide once you spend a certain amount and I gave him $7 tip. WILL NEVER ODER FROM HERE AGAIN. THEY DIDNT EVEN ACCOMMODATE US BY PROVIDING EGG ROLLS OR SODAS DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALLL SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY."

"Delicious Chinese food from a no frills location, with decently low prices especially for the portion sizes. The beef is better than the General Tso’s Chicken."
