"Absolutely amazing food and drinks. The staff is kind and welcoming. Service could be a bit more attentive but certainly wasn’t bad. Comfortable seating and a warm atmosphere. Really enjoyed the food and my drink, the forbidden ember. To eat, we got a few appetizers- shrimp, zucchini blossoms, and hummus. My mom and I got the chicken skewers, my dad got one of the kebabs, and our friends got the lamb kebab. All delicious!"

"Absolutely amazing Mediterranean restaurant! The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of authentic vibes. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to recommend something special. The food is incredible — fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and perfectly balanced spices. I especially loved the hummus, lamb kebab, and Greek salad — everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels like dining somewhere on the Mediterranean coast. Definitely one of the best spots in town — I’ll be coming back for sure! 🍋🍷🌿"

"Great/best Turkish restaurant in NYC. Went with 2 others earlier in the week and shared the Shepherd Salad, combination hummus/babaganoush, rice and I ordered the Nar Kebab for my main dish. Plenty of food, delicious, and nice ambiance. Ruya, our server, was excellent."

"The service was excellent as soon as we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious — honestly, I believe this is the best Middle Eastern restaurant in New York. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the high quality (and compared to how expensive New York usually is). Shoutout to the chef for the amazing flavors and to our server, who was super attentive and made the experience even better. Highly recommended!"

"I recently visited Nar Restaurant in NYC for brunch and had an incredible experience. As a Turkish individual, the moment I entered, I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me.It truly felt like home, reminiscent of my mom's kitchen. I indulged in the Turkish breakfast, which was absolutely fantastic. The flavors were authentic, and every dish was prepared with care. Our server, Ethan, was exceptional, attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. A wonderful surprise came when the chef sent us a complimentary basket of fresh baked goods, which added a delightful touch to our meal. We never felt rushed, allowing us to savor our time there over the course of three hours. Overall, Nar Restaurant offers a genuine taste of Turkey, and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're Turkish or just looking to try something new, this place will surely impress!"
