"This is probably one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the downtown area. It might look small from the outside, but inside, it's rather spacious, and smells just like the Vietnamese restaurants back in my hometown, San Jose. The prices are a little steeper than the other restaurants in Chinatown, but the food is more than just average, or good, it's great, actually. Some of the staff speak Vietnamese, which is a relief. They remind me of your uncles kicking back sipping on Heineken's during family bbq's in the backyard. We've had the banh mi curry here, the hu tieu, and the bun rieu here. All were good. I would definitely come back. There hours are good and there's A GAZILLION dishes on the menu to choose from, it would be hard to not to find something you'd like here. Although I am a little suspicious how the food comes out at such a reasonable time, despite the menu being so vast. Come here for some no-frills Viet eats."

"Good food. The only thing we weren’t happy about is that they charged us 20% tip for a party of two which was surprising and not told ahead of time. I’m usually ok with tipping myself - service was not great for a 20% tip water was served just the one time- they were busy . I’m not sure if it was because we were tourist but not too happy about it tbh. Good food though"

"Delicious and authentic food with plenty of menu options. Prices were fair and the atmosphere is great for lunch or dinner. Best Banh Mi I have ever had. 1 dish can serve 2 people."

"Great vietnamese food. I had the pho with meatballs. The meatballs were delicious. They had a chewy bouncy texture. The calamari was fresh and chewy as well. I love that it came with carrots and jicama that were soaked in lime and sugar. The restaurant is bigger than it looks"

"My family has been coming here for as long as I could remember, dating back nearly 2.5 decades ago. Each year, on random days and on special occasions, we come here to have lunch or dinner or just to have a nice meal or place to catch up. Over the years, we have seen the prices increase astronomically. It is now twice as much as it was when we first started coming here. I understand the economy is also in a different place than it was but $16 for a pho now is insanely high when you can get one for $11 a few blocks away. Don’t get me wrong, pho here is pretty decent but in addition to soaring prices, the taste of the pho has taken a dip. I remember very rich broths but now it’s almost as if it’s been watered down to save on costs. While I don’t think the pho broth is as good as it used to be, the other dishes remain delicious! I’m a big fan of the pork chops here, although the amount given varies day to day. The beef cubes are also amazing and full of flavor. A plus is the waiters here are always efficient, polite and ready to help. They seem to know my parents and their needs/wants well. Haha after all, they’ve probably come to this restaurant well before I was even born. Everyone there is pretty chill and they don’t seem to ever kick you out so it’s a nice place to hang out with friends as well."
