"Love, love, loved everything!! I’ve been to so many Indian restaurants, but this was THE one. The food was amazing and tasted so fresh. The staff was incredibly kind, and the place was very clean. I usually don’t drink mango lassi, but my husband ordered one and I took a sip—wow, the best! I had to order one for myself. The owner was also so kind and even gave us a free kebab. This will definitely be our go-to spot!!"

"The food was tasty and the quality was excellent. I ordered the lunch menu and it’s reasonable. It was a nice atmosphere and mango lassi and chicken biryani was yummy. The staff is helpful and I would recommend anyone here. Overall was good visit here definitely coming back with my family."

"Very disappointing experience. The waiter was extremely rude from the moment we arrived. When we politely asked why the dal was served without tadka, he got offended and even questioned how long I’ve been in the USA — completely unprofessional and unnecessary. The restaurant was also very cold. There was no proper heating, and the only small portable heater they gave us was uncomfortable to place and didn’t help at all. We had to sit with our jackets on the entire time. The food was also very average, nothing special, and definitely not worth the unpleasant experience. The place even had a strong, unpleasant smell when we walked in. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant."

"Absolutely amazing restaurant, truly one of the best and flavorful dishes we've tried in NYC! We ordered: - garlic chili naan - lamb tikka masala - goat vindaloo (🌶️🌶️🌶️; but so good with a side of raita) - saag paneer - mango lassi to share 🥭 Everything from the cozy atmosphere to the delicious food and excellent, warm service (shout out to Mr. Arif!) makes this place somewhere we will definitely frequent when we are in the area!"

"Mumbai Place should be called Mumbai Palace. This place is royally kind & majestically delicious. We called ahead and they accommodated 12 people easily. They had seasonal pumpkin dishes and such yummy eggplant slosh. I literally don’t know what this eggplant thing is called it was soooooo good tho."
