"I had been here a few times many years ago, but today I took a group of 12 middle school kids. First of all, the food was delicious. They made sure that the food was extremely flavorful, even for the students who asked for it mild. While some Indian restaurants take "mild" to mean flavorless, this was not the case at Mughlai. On the flip side, I asked for my dish spicy and they definitely delivered. It was delicious! In addition, the lunch special price was very fair especially considering how large the portions were. Second, the staff was so kind, generous, and accommodating of our middle schoolers. They treated them with the same professionalism they would any adult guests. Even when the middle schoolers acted like... middle schoolers, the Mughlai staff was so patient. Thank you again. We had a wonderful experience!"

"Back to leave another review because tonight was the best yet. Also, a video was necessary. I’m here often. The food is incredible and the staff actually cares about your evening and the neighborhood that it’s a part of. The tandoori here is always exceptional but tonight I was wowed. I didn’t think that you guys could wow me after so many years and times here, but bravo!! Dinner was amazing. Thank you!"

"Food was decent, I would give it 3.5 stars. It is a bit oily but pretty standard Indian food. In nyc. However they tricked us to order mango chutney, pickles and curd (yogurt sauce) without telling us they would charge $4 for each of them! My Indian friend told me it is not acceptable."
