"I attended Mamazul for my birthday dinner with friends and family. The waitress was very short with her responses, service was lacking n slow. The food was decent but pretty overpriced in my opinion. The birria for example was only 3 tacos and consume for $30 no rice or beans or anything else. The watermelon margarita was in a very small short glass for $20. I understand this is NYC but I was surprised. They also charged $20 for 4 churrp sticks with a sparkler for my birthday dessert. Maybe the server didn't put in effort because we were a table of 6 n there is a mandatory automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill but either way I doubt any of us will return."

"Lizeth was our server and was very happy to serve us. She gave us options when we asked for suggestions and very attentive what we didn’t want/ didn’t like. Mamazul food was very delicious and full of flavor, will definitely come again especially with it’s ambience and music. + the hostess and manager helped us get another table for our brother who came along"

"We had such a great experience at Mamazul. Our server Pamela was amazing, super friendly and helpful the whole night. When we found out they were out of the lava cake, she surprised us with shots on the house which totally made our night. Great service, great vibes, and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend asking for Pamela if you go."

"My drink was very delicious the did not skimp on the alcohol. The appetizer was good could have been a little more the portions was small Especially for the price. My entrée would have been great except it came out cold. My waitress forgot about me she took my appetizer order and never came back. Had to call another waitress over to take care of me. The waitress did try to accommodate me but it didn’t help the situation. The decor was nice."

"I stumbled upon this spot while walking through the area and I’m so glad I did! The margaritas were incredible and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Their happy hour is a total win — great deals and yes, they have truffle fries (my weakness). The space is surprisingly big, perfect for larger groups, and a bonus: they have power outlets at the bar, which came in clutch when I needed to charge my phone. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. If you’re in the area, this place is 100% worth checking out!"
