"Wonderful table sitting next to each other overlooking the flowers in main dining room. Food was amazing. Wine selection was wonderful and didn’t break the bank. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Risottos are a real treat. Black truffles seasonal treat. Feels like you’re in Paris."

"My bf and I took my mom out for a fun afternoon tea at the Majorelle. Unfortunately, comparing to our other afternoon tea experience in the city, the food and service were both disappointing. As I read thru the review on Google, many people spoke so highly about the warm scones. I was looking forward to trying them. However, they served three different flavors, I stopped after trying half because they are just so dry and hard. The sandwiches were extremely basic, cucumber, chicken curry, lobster and egg sandwich. None of those really stood out to us. The pear puff was the only highlight of the pastry. And another star goes to their delicious green tea. The service was not attentive at all, even rude. Our server was 6 feet tall male, dark hair, wearing black frame glasses. There was no welcome, nor introduction or greetings. The entire time service was very cold and lack of even politeness, came off as arrogant tbh. He never refilled our tea once. The only time he smiled was after tipping, so frankly he didnt do much to deserve that. The one star of service goes to all the other servers who has been help refilling a little. But most of the time, we did it on our own. I do have to say the managers are all super professional and attentive. Maybe training needs to improve on servers. All in all, this is not the service we expect from a top afternoon tea place in the city. Also the size of the main afternoon area is quite small. Just felt kinda tight and a little noisy if you are close to a big group. The real flower arrangement was beautiful. Overall, we would not go back again."

"For a beautiful French restaurant with impeccable service, too many dishes were just not that great. Pass on the duck, the NY strip, the scallops, the vol-au-vent with escargots, the foie gras, - I think the only dish that stood out as excellent was the filet mignon. Even the desserts were mediocre. Not bad, just not great, especially at that price. Still, absolutely perfect service, they really take care of you, and lots of beautiful fresh flowers."

"Just had the afternoon tea, and it was excellent. The Chef's tea selection was indeed special. every one of the finger bites was of the highest quality, creative, and tasty. And I must say that Chef Matthew's pastries were World-class!. Also thank you to the stellar team, as well as Jacque and Alex. and the relaxing, authentic, atmosphere added to the experience."

"HOW TO GET IN: you will definitely need to book this online beforehand but it’s very easy to get a reservation. I think this may be the best place I have had afternoon tea in the city. The service was excellent. Costa treated us so well and made us feel so special. The space is absolutely stunning as well as all the Dior tableware. The desserts and sandwiches are some of the best I’ve ever had. Each one was great. We also ordered the dips which are a must. I appreciate we could switch tea flavors. I also liked that we got the scones after, so there was enough room on the table for all the jams and cream."
