"We dined at the restaurant on a Thursday evening, arriving around 5:45 PM. We were seated promptly, and the host informed us that we could access the menu via a QR code. Ordering was straightforward and quick, as the restaurant was not busy. We tried the hummus and found it lacking depth and flavor-quite flat. Additionally, the interior had a damp smell and showed signs of wear; dust and stains were visible throughout, which made it difficult to capture any worthwhile photos. (I usually enjoy photographing dining spaces, but the condition of the place prevented any decent shots.) Special mention: None. Areas for improvement: 1. Conduct a thorough deep-cleaning of the premises. 2. Improve ventilation to eliminate the damp odor. 3. Hire a well-trained chef who specializes in the chosen cuisine."

"Hands down one of my favorite spots in Astoria! I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. The restaurant is super clean, the service is always top-notch, and the staff is warm and welcoming every time. This time I got the mixed grill platter, fried chicken & Lamb Shank with their signature white and green sauces — 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Everything was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The sauces take it to the next level! Layali Beirut has officially become my go-to restaurant whenever I want a great meal or need to impress guests. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful food in a great atmosphere."

"The food was good but terrible service. We barely saw the waiter. There was no water and we were really thirsty, but the waitress was chilling for herself in one of the couches. After a long wait, I asked one of the chefs who was passing by for water. They called the waitress to come over. When I asked for tap water she said they only have bottled water."

"Layali Beirut is a hidden gem in Astoria! The food is incredibly delicious, with authentic Lebanese flavors. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel like family. The hookah selection is impressive, with great taste and smooth smoke. Only drawbacks: prices are a bit steep, and they didn't have everything on the menu when we visited. Minor complaints, though - overall, a fantastic experience."
