"This place is such a solid neighborhood spot. Everything we ordered was thoughtfully done and full of flavor. The Pate and Bone was a great starter. The chicken liver mousse was smooth and rich, and the bone marrow with toasted baguette made it extra indulgent without being too heavy. I really loved the Pomelo Salad. It was fresh and bright, with grilled shrimp and a nice balance of citrus, herbs, and a slightly spicy tamarind dressing. Super refreshing, especially with the crispy rice cracker. The Wagyu Pho was excellent. The broth was fragrant and well seasoned, and the wagyu was incredibly tender and comforting. We finished with the avocado coconut ice cream, which was light, creamy, and not overly sweet. The crispy sliced banana a really nice texture. Comfortable, well-executed food. Definitely a spot I’d come back to."

"This place is wonderful. Service. Ambience. Food! We were a walk in on a Thursday night and were able to sit at the bar sooner than a table but it was great because the bartenders/ our servers were wonderful. Sofia and Nikky were attentive, gave reccos and were great company. Crab fried rice with the wings was a great combo. And the Wagyu Pho and dry duck Pho were both delicious. Highly recommend. Would come back again."

"Had a great dinner. Came when they opened at 4:30 and had a pretty long line already. We made reservations so we were seating right away. I would def recommend making reservations or come early. The apps were great, loved the bone marrow and pate with the Vietnamese baguette. Cha gio egg rolls wete one of the best ive tried. The Hanoi pho was also amazing, esp in December with the cold weather. Service was very good as well. I would come back again to try different items."

"Omg! This place is amazing. We grew up in Northern Virginia so we are used to having accessible Vietnamese food spots, but struggled to find ones here in NYC. La Dong’s quality and flavors are up there for us in terms of Vietnamese food. Will definitely be back! We walked in and was served by Nicki and Earth at the bar. Super amazing service it really stood out. They recommended dishes that worked well together. Nicki was THE BEST & really helpful and attentive, providing guidance in how the food was placed how to eat the dishes. Nicki had so much enthusiasm and charisma and if you ever have him as your bartender you’re going to leave the restaurant with a smile. My Fiancée’s old fashion was also really good! My calamnsi matcha spritz was amazing! Worth the price for such a high quality and delicious place."
