"Had a great quick bite at Fish Stand in Jersey City. We tried the seared scallop, seared salmon, and tuna handrolls. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. Service was fast, the vibe is friendly, and it’s an awesome spot if you’re craving high-quality casual handrolls. Their soups are also to die for, especially the salmon kalabasa bisque! Definitely coming back for some more fresh quality fish. We love supporting local businesses."

"I walked by here and decided to stop in and get a salmon, and it was the best quality fish I’ve gotten from a market! It was really great, especially for the price and the owner was also really nice and helpful when it came to how I can prepare it. I usually get fish from ShopRite, but their quality is severely lacking (even thought it’s cheaper) and the Jersey City Fish Stand has a much better value for the price. I can’t see myself going back to ShopRite for fish, especially when such a great stand exists near it. I went back with my boyfriend to try out some hand rolls (spicy salmon and scallop, both were really fresh, quick, and delicious) and walked out with delicious lobster bisque and clam chowder. I’m looking forward to the next time I go and trying even more!"

"Wonderful little gem in Jersey city! Owner is so nice and had a great selection of fish. He mentioned they do hand rolls on Tuesday-Saturday until he sells out. We can’t wait to come back and try! Support your local businesses :)"

"I don’t have enough good words to say about Jay and his business! The fish is phenomenal, the quality is truly top notch. I’ve been going to Jersey City Fish Stand for years and have never been disappointed with anything I’ve bought - everything from their salmon to scallops to tuna, everything is delicious and you can taste the freshness and quality. Over the years I’ve gotten salmon from other places like Scale and Whole Foods but the quality doesn’t even come close to Jersey City Fish Stand. The service, friendliness and kindness can’t be beat. The neighborhood is very lucky to have a business like Jay’s!"
