"This was our first time here. We needed to get our friends back to EWR for a flight and I found this place rated 4.6 It really didn't disappoint. We unfortunately couldn't order drinks because we had to leave right away and drive an hour home. But the fresh bread they gave use was toasty and warm. I ordered the chicken and scallops. Very, very good, although some of the rice was dry and clumpy, but all the sauce made up for it. Bife de Alcatra Acebolado was very good as well. My wife order the Picanha Grelhada which as well was absolutely delicious. Overall we had a great short time with our friends and enjoyed coming here for some Portuguese food and atmosphere."

"I went here before a movie at AMC Jersey Gardens, a 5 minute drive away. When I arrived I was the only woman patron among 15 guys... the bar definitely gives man cave vibes and it was a bit off putting at first. Which is why I've given it 4 stars not 5, for an otherwise great experience. Sitting at the bar, the food was delicious and service was attentive and friendly. I had a chicken skewer rice and beans and maduros. And a chilled glass of red house wine on a hot day - a perfect way to kick off the evening. Will come again for sure, a big upgrade on mall food!"

"I ordered skirt steak with onions, my skirt steak was super overcooked, dry, chewy, and worst of all had a super foul taste/smell. I couldn’t eat it. It tasted like someone microwaved a frozen steak. Severely disappointed although I was really looking forward to it."
