"10/10 if you’re an introvert this place is for you. Lowkey I feel like I would have enjoyed my experience a lot more if I was alone but I went here with my friend and it was still good, they seated us next to each other and were still able to talk. Only thing though is that this place is so popular there was a long line to wait for a table but it was pretty quick. Service was nice and fast, atmosphere amazing, and food freakin-fantastic."

"We came to NYC for a day trip and this place is one of the highlights. First, I LOVE the concept, it feels as authentic as it can be, given that we are in the US. I love the single booths, self-service. FOOD was amazing, I can write a whole essay on the flavorful broth, the firm noodles and the matcha pudding and beer. Although the wait was a bit long, it is well worth it. I fear that I am now going to look for this flavor in every ramen/soup I try, to only end up being disappointed. This place has set the bar high and a tiny part of me wants to gate keep as much as possible until they open up more locations (bring one to DC please!) Lastly, the staff were efficient, nice and straightforward. Keep in mind that since the concept is single booths, in order to meet demand - once you’ve eaten your food, please keep it moving so other folks can sit down and enjoy the food and experience! Thank you to the entire Ichiran staff for a wonderful experience, I will definitely be back!"

"Hands down the best ramen I’ve had in the city. The fact that it can be personalized is a game changer. The broth was exquisite, the noodles just right and the amount was just perfect. In a cold day there’s nothing better than to get a ramen bowl and this place will be my go to when I’m not in a hurry. There is always a line at all times I’ve passed by. A 15 min wait was my experience but definitely depends on how busy they are. Honestly the whole experience is simply great. Must try!"

"Ichiran Ramen – A Must-Try Experience! Ichiran serves the best ramen in town, hands down. The setup is super cool — everyone gets their own private cubicle, which makes the whole experience unique and fun. I’m not even a big noodle fan, but the ramen here was rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The noodles are made fresh every day. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone craving amazing noodles or wanting a one-of-a-kind dining experience!"

"When I visited Japan, I couldn't get into this place because it was always too crowded, so I never imagined I would finally get to try it in New York! I went around 3 PM, and there wasn't much of a wait, so I was able to get in quickly. I'm sure the wait time got much longer after that as more customers arrived. The ramen menu is a single item, and I ordered easily using the kiosk. The price here in New York felt nearly three times more expensive than in Japan, but I appreciated not having to tip or make unnecessary conversation, which made the experience very relaxed. The flavor was great! If you want to adjust the spice level or the richness of the broth, you should think carefully before placing your order."
