"This place has really gone down in food quality and it’s so unfortunate because I lived in this area for a long time. I remember when they opened at the end of the ‘block….So trust me ive seen it at its best and now at its worst. Now they charge you $16 for a small guac and a large bag of chips before it was $10 for the small and 16 for the large now it’s just a small for $16. The birra Tacos come plain the sauce on the side. The tacos are not dipped in the sauce. The meat is not cooked in the sauce. You just get a sauce cup and you’re paying $20. I have sauces in my kitchen. I could’ve made plain tacos at home, saved the money and just bought the sauce for cheaper. It’s really unfortunate. Do better!!"

"The restaurant is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. We tried the Horchata(MUST ORDER IT WAS GREAT), Agua de jamaica, chimichanga, birria tacos, and enchiladas en mole. Literally everything was delicious and I cannot wait to go back!! Are we just so provided in good service. Our bill came up to around $70 for three meals and three nonalcoholic drinks."

"A family friendly restaurant with tasty food. Some of the best items here are the tacos al carbon, enmoladas, and tacos. Good for celebrations."

"I ordered the wrong thing. I wanted the chimichanga but ordered the burrito, I guess I was thinking when I would order a burrito elsewhere there wasn’t any cilantro in it. My husband did mention to the waitress that I didn’t like cilantro but I guess because it wasn’t said no cilantro. That is exactly why I ordering the chimichanga because it didn’t have cilantro in it. I’ve only gotten the tortilla del superset 1 time. That time it was so delicious the onions were sautéed to perfection with the flavor so awesome. I said no peppers so it was all so good. Then after that they killed it with onions instead of making everything even so nothing was overwhelming the other. The next time I thought we said no peppers but there was so I had to pick them all out which was a pain. I’ve also had the Enchilada Suizas which always was so good with the chile poblano sauce. I loved the way the whole taste came together. I really liked the sauce so much that I ordered something else but wanted that sauce with it. I had to pay xtra because instead of giving you the sauce with the plate they gave you a whole order of the sauce which was way too much to go with the food but no problem if that’s what I had to do to get SOME sauce. Then they changed the sauce. It tasted like they now were grounding cilantro in it. Yuck. Are you telling me that all Mexicans & Spanish people like cilantro? Because they put it in everything & I know a lot of people don’t like Cilantro, they say it tastes like soap but I don’t like the taste or the smell. It gives me a headache. The Jaimica drink (sorrel), I love. My husband started getting the pork chops & they were really good, I couldn’t believe how good they were but of course the one time I order it, they were dry & not juicy like they always are when he gets it. I said to myself, watch when I order them they’ll be dry & that’s exactly what happened."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time last night. The restaurant is BEAUTIFULLY decorated! There are wall murals, and a grass wall for photo ops. There was a man singing in Spanish and engaging the patrons without being intrusive. The food is delicious along with great drinks at a reasonable price. Great local Bronx date night option with authentic Mexican food and flair."
