"I didn’t wanna believe the hype. Stopped by this place because my friend told me it was insanely flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything on my plate was bursting with flavor, please don’t forget the salsa section. These hot salsas are mouthwateringly spicy. I strongly recommend the tacos & will be back for the rest of the menu. Important* make sure u keep ur receipt to use the bathroom! The gentlemen at pick up was nice enough to remember me and share the code."

"Esse Taco in Williamsburg is hands down one of my favorite taco spots in all of NYC! The tacos here hit different – perfectly seasoned, with those fresh house-made corn tortillas that elevate everything. I always go for a mix: the ribeye is juicy and rich, the al pastor has that killer char and pineapple vibe, and the oyster mushroom one is surprisingly addictive even if you're a meat lover like me. Make 'em gringa style with melted cheese for extra indulgence. The vibes are lively and fun, perfect for a quick bite or hanging out in the neighborhood."

"Marvelous tacos. The BEST mushroom taco i’ve ever had in my life. Pork and chicken very good. Rib eye competent. Great service, and delicious aguas frescas. I’m from Mexico and this are very, very good tacos!"

"They’re good but didn’t taste like authentic Mexican tacos. The Al Pastor were sweeter than spicier and instead of regular onions they used green onions on Suadero -don’t get me wrong it was good but not ‘wow’ good. They kept the stand-up eating taco concept but trendy and fancier so it kind of defies the purpose."

"Some top-notch tacos and I love the microphone announcement system. I actually liked the chicken better than the rib eye. The quesadilla (just cheese on a corn tortilla) is weirdly delicious. Like weirdly just hits. Make sure to get the salsas on the side. The corn just sundae is really good… but why the HECK is it $12. That’s highway robbery in my opinion. It’s not that big. I love the vibes inside. Honestly price is my only complaint. 5/5 on flavor and vibe. 3.5/5 on value."
