"Their menu takes familiar ingredients in surprising directions. The team here is exceptionally friendly and readily provides guidance when you appear confused. The meal combined good taste with proper cooking. I feel authentic pleasure dining here. The vibe here is particularly good."

"This place is the real deal. I’m from California and not to brag but the burritos and Mexican food there is unrivaled. BUT El Hefe actually reminds me of home and has the best Mexican food. Better than los tacos or any other place in the city. More authentic than taqueria Ramirez by far!! Go here because you won’t be disappointed. If you’re disappointed you have never had good Mexican food to begin with."
