"We had an amazing dining experience at DonDon last night. The vibe is laid-back yet unexpectedly intimate, setting the perfect tone for the evening. We went with the tasting menu and added the short rib—an excellent decision. Both the food and presentation were true showstoppers. From the variety of beautifully prepared pork cuts to the roasted garlic, peppers, and mushrooms, every dish was thoughtfully composed. The assortment of pickled accompaniments added brightness and balance, making each combination really pop. Highly recommend asking for pairing suggestions to get the most out of this unique dining experience—your taste buds will thank you."

"My friends and I passed by this restaurant, and we didn’t have a reservation. There was no waiting time. We tried the Don Don Tasting Menu for $49/person. The food was okay. The portions were a little bit smaller for a tasting menu, but we loved the service here. The server was so attentive."

"This place primarily serves pork, so don't go if you don't like/eat pork! We tried kitchen fried rice, doenjang stew, 30 day-aged pork belly for grill, mushrooms and vegetables for grill. The flavor is just okay and actually too salty for some of those. Kitchen fried rice is probably the best. The place is really tiny and smoky. Packed with small tables and not a pleasant vibe. The Service is good though. Overall not somewhere for a decent and chill dinner."

"Came here for my best friend’s birthday. We got the chef’s feast and we really loved it. Best corn cheese I’ve had in any KBBQ spot (in NYC, Fort Lee, LA, and Seoul). The pork was truly phenomenal and the portions were absolutely huge. We had a lot to take home that night. Lauren was our server and the service here was remarkable. I’ve been to multiple Michelin stars and the attentiveness here was seriously on par; she truly went above and beyond to make sure me and my friend were comfortable (it was hot in the restaurant but that was bc of the recent heat wave). Anyway, I’ll definitely be back here. It’s the best kbbq in the city regarding taste and bang for buck *also my other friend went here the other day and he got the regular tasting menu and he really loved it too! So it seems like you can’t go wrong either way"
