"The Chinese female server kept chatting with the male server about how they went out drinking last night instead of taking our orders. When we politely asked her to take our orders, she yelled rudely “wait”, and kept chatting. The food is delicious, but I’m sure you can find other delicious dim sum places here in NYC with better service."

"Dim Sum Sam is primarily for takeout as there are only limited seats available. There is a wide selection. Orders start at $7.34 after tax. The three I had (bean curd roll, fried pork and chive dumplings, steamed pea shoot dumplings) were decent. It’s convenient if you’re in the neighborhood, but for better prices and in a full-service restaurant, best head slightly north to Chinatown."

"Bright, clean restaurant with nice decor. Efficient wait staff and well crafted food. Next to restaurant entry is the door for the prep kitchen and carry out. They have tasty pastries, especially the mini custard pies."

"Decent dim sum option in fidi district. Prices are reasonable. The standard of dumplings are good enough. Grabbed the steamed prawn dumpling, steamed spicy mushroom dumpling, scallion pancake and fried prawn scallop dumpling. All served piping hot and the dumpling skins held together."
