"I had an amazing experience during my visit! Sylvia was my server, and she was absolutely incredible. She was very polite, super fast with her service, and consistently checked in to make sure everything was perfect while I ate. I watched her clean tables and thoroughly sweep floors as soon as guests left—she was on top of everything! What really made her stand out was how persistent, humble, and genuinely caring she was. The manager was just as wonderful—so sweet, always present, and attentive without even being asked. You could tell she really cared about the workers, guests and the flow of the restaurant. And the food… WOW. It was almost too good to be true! Just look at my plate—I ordered two pieces of chicken and was given four! Everything was so filling, flavorful, and generously served. They definitely don’t hold back on portions. The atmosphere made the whole experience unforgettable. The vibe was breathtaking, the music was fun and engaging, and the food literally made you want to dance along with it! 😍✨️ I’ll definitely be back for more. Thank you all for making my visit truly memorable!"

"I stop going to this restaurant for 2 years because there’s 2 registers and only one open every time. The average order takes over 5 mins to cash out, so if there’s 5 people on line in front of you. You’re waiting over 25 mins just to place an order. The food overall is good, the cornbread use to be moist and delicious, now it’s very dry and not as tasty at all. It crumbles as soon as you try to pick it up, make sure you have something to drink in hand, you will choke on it now. I ordered 6 cornbread which took me over 20 mins to get, after waiting on line for over 20 mins to pay with only 3 people ahead of me. Once I got to my car, I opened the box and there were turkey wings instead of the cornbread I ordered, I went back into the restaurant, told them they gave me the wrong order and the young lady looked at me like so why are you complaining, like it’s my fault. They all move around like their whole family died the night before. The whole staff needs retraining. No one moves with any type of urgency, just slow and no personality at all. Perfect example of why you need to check on your business as a business owner. And please check your takeout before you leave, this isn’t the first time I received the wrong order."

"I was at work during lunchtime, and I wasn't quite sure what to eat near my job. I asked my sister, 'Hey, what should I eat?' I decided to check Uber Eats for something different. She asked, 'Do you want some soul food?' and I said yes. She recommended trying cornbread, so I gave it a shot, and I was hooked! I told myself I had to visit cornbread in person to see the atmosphere and experience the real hype. When I finally went to cornbread, I was so happy—everything was delicious! The environment was warm and inviting, and the music, a soulful mix of R&B and oldies, really set the mood. Kizzy, the young lady taking my order, was so friendly and delightful. This place truly has a cozy, family vibe, and I definitely look forward to going back a few more times. Let me not forget to mention that they have options you can eat inside or outside"

"Came to brunch with my sister. The catfish was off the chain. The collards was perfect the yams were delicious the Mac and cheese scrupcious even the cabbage was great you must drink the southern twang. The staff was a part of my good journey ebraced me with smiles and a great time. Worth every penny....."

"Server John recommended the catfish and it did not disappoint. John was welcoming and friendly. It was crispy with a light batter— moist in the center and fried perfectly. Unfortunately, they ran out of cornbread so I was given an extra side. Potato salad and Mac and cheese were both heavenly. Everything was well seasoned and I loved the flavors. Generous portions. Very spacious and clean inside."
