"A small resturant with big flavor! Food is on the money, I had chuleta con-con, with arroz con condules, ensalad, (pork chop, rice and salad) excellent. There were six of us, luckily we were seated pretty fast, but people waiting outside in the cold to seat and eat. The food is worth the wait, not expensive at all...."

"It’s like walking into someone’s home. What a beautiful diner, beautiful staff and beautiful energy. Everyone here works really hard the food was on point! My daughter couldn’t stop eating the mofongo! 10/10 would recommend coming here. The owner is amazing!"

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Casa Adela, and it instantly became my go-to spot for authentic, home-style Puerto Rican cooking. The place has such a wonderfully warm and homey feel, and the entire staff is incredibly nice, making you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The food here is truly exceptional. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor—seasoned perfectly without being overly salty. The portions are fantastic; everything is served in generous, sharing sizes. I highly recommend starting with the fried chicken even as a side, it was a huge, crispy, and savory portion. We also loved the mofongo, which had deliciously tender pernil mixed in and crispy chicharron on top, and the savory bacalao. Don't skip the pink beans either; they add wonderful depth of flavor to the meal. While the restaurant is small and cozy, that only speaks to its immense popularity it’s clearly a neighborhood treasure, evidenced by how busy the kitchen was filling both dine-in and pick-up orders. The service, despite the bustle, was attentive and dedicated. For dessert, the flan is a must-try; at only $3, it’s the perfect, sweet ending. Casa Adela is a vibrant, flavorful experience that offers incredible food and service. Just remember this traditional spot is cash only!"

"4.5 4.5 Really liked the food here, flavorful but not salty for me. This time, also ordered Bacalao; yuca with onions; mofongo which has pernil mixed in, and crispy chicharron on top (less pricey than the mofongo with pernil or chicken entree). Flan was so good and only $3. Chicken chicharron were crispy and tasty but were not meaty pieces. Pernil sandwich was pressed, kind of plain. 2 hours from being outside/waiting for a table to finishing our meal. I did notice that once seated, it took a while for our order to be taken. There were only 2 people attending to the tables but staff is very nice, homey feel when eating there. Kitchen was busy- noticed a lot of pick-up orders too. Small restaurant, tables near each other; with a small restroom."

"Great puerto rican food. Highly recommend the fried chicken, we had it as side order and it was still in big portion. Roast chicken was also good. Each food can be in sharing size. Yellow rice was nothing special, but the pink beans add more flavor. Place is packed with guests. Cash only, but still taxed."
