"They asked me to wait 15 minutes because the meat was almost ready. I waited, paid, gave a tip, and left. I got home and this was my surprise: the meat was dry, tough, and burnt. I had already been warned not to order food from this place again because lately the food had been bad, and I wanted to give it a chance... what a regret. The only edible thing was the chicken. Lamentable."

"I don’t usually write reviews unless a place is exceptionally good or truly disappointing—and unfortunately, this was the latter. Let me start with the food: the chicken was dry and tough, like it had been sitting around since the day before. The black beans were bland and tasted straight out of a can (and I know what real black beans should taste like—I’ve had them in Brazil). They were out of nearly everything, including beer—only one “last” Corona was available. Even the maracuyá (passion fruit juice) was canned, not fresh. The atmosphere was equally poor. The patio looked more like a construction site than a restaurant, with materials and beer boxes scattered everywhere. It felt chaotic and unkempt. To make matters worse, we were a family group, and the bill was over $100—on which they automatically added gratuity. I don’t mind tipping for good service, but forcing it after such a disappointing experience felt like a final insult. Definitely not coming back. There are too many great places out there to waste time and money here."
